Federated Green Day

On Wednesday 16th June our children and staff from Sutterton joined together with the children at the Swineshead site to take part in a Federated Day of eco-friendly activities.
The children in foundation stage and Key Stage One designed and made their own bug houses, made seed cakes to feed the birds in our gardens, designed and made their own seed planters and designed and made windmills.
Not to be left behind, Key Stage Two were involved designing their own eco-heros, designing and making an eco board game, making eco-vehicles from recycled materials and last but not least a sustainable house made from wattle and daub!
The children – and staff – had a wonderful day. It was lovely to be able to spend time together in such a creative and fun way. Let’s hope we can arrange to have another Federated day in the near future!
